• How do I activate the Closed Alpha key?

• First, log into your account: https://roguetrader.owlcat.games/preorder/en/login. If you're having trouble logging into your account or have forgotten your password, email us at team@owlcat.games and we'll help

  

  Then open the Digital Download tab, where your orders will be listed. To get the alpha-version key (for the Steam platform), click on the "Get a key" button. 

  Please note that if you have purchased any of the packs, you can claim digital rewards from them in the same tab “Digital Download”. 

  

  Packs are the add-ons available for purchase after you make the main order. 

  

  Once done, open your Steam client, on the top panel click GAMES -> ACTIVATE A PRODUCT ON STEAM, then follow the instructions on the screen, putting the key in when prompted. Once done, the game will appear in your Steam library.

  If you want to transfer the key to someone else, then proceed as follows: get the code itself in the appropriate tab. Then the person to whom you want to transfer the key, must create an account, log in and open the tab "orders".

  Then they should insert the key in the appropriate box and the pack will be added as a paid one.

  

   

   

• Can I upgrade my Founder’s Pack? How do I do it?

• Sure, you can upgrade the Founder's Pack at any time as long as the pack you wish to upgrade to is available for purchase. You can do it in the My Orders section of your account – you will see the Upgrade button near the pack you already purchased.

• Can I downgrade my Founder’s Pack to a cheaper one?
• Unfortunately, there is no such option.
• Can I downgrade from a physical pack to a digital one?
• Unfortunately, there is no such option.
• Can I upgrade my digital pack to a physical one?
• This option will be added soon. You will be able to upgrade any digital pack to the physical Collector’s Edition when it becomes available to purchase. Sign up for the newsletter and stay tuned!
• Which platforms will Rogue Trader be available on?

• The current pre-order is for the PC and console versions. It will be available on Steam, GOG, EGS, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

• What items will the Core Digital Pack include?
• You will get a PC Digital Copy of the game, a Discord Role, and Beta Access to the game. More detailed information can be found in the descriptions section of the Founder’s Packs on the website.
• Is the items' design final?
• The in-game items' design could be changed before release. We will inform you about any changes.
• When will I get all the items from the Founder's Pack I've bought?
• All rewards will be available on release day. But you will receive the Discord Role after purchasing the Founder’s Pack. When you join our Discord server, we will add it to your nickname within 7 days.
• I want to buy a physical addon, how do I do it?
• Choose the pack and proceed to checkout. You will be asked if you'd like to add some addons/items before you complete your purchase.
• What items will the Developer’s Digital Pack include?
• You will get a PC Digital Copy, a Discord Role, the earliest Alpha Access to the game, a set of 3 exclusive in-game Items, an in-game Unique Voidship Model, a Digital OST, a Digital Art Book, and a ready-to-print Digital Vertical Poster. Your name will also appear in the Hall of Remembrance in the game and in the Special Thanks credits section.
• What does "ready-to-print" mean?
• It means that you do not need to prepare the file for printing. We have already made it the required resolution to look perfect when printed as an A2 poster. Of course, you can print it in other sizes, but we focused on A2 format when creating this one. Just download the file and print it.
• When will I receive access to gameplay?
• Developer’s Digital Pack owners will have access to the earliest alpha version of the game in 2022. Owners of the Core, Premium, and Ultimate packs will have access to the beta version of the game next year.
• What items will the Premium Digital Pack include?
• You will get a PC Digital Copy, a Discord Role, Beta Access to the game, a set of 3 exclusive in-game Items, and an in-game Unique Voidship Model. Also, your name will appear in the credits section. More detailed information can be found in the descriptions section of the Founder’s Packs on the website.
• What will the special in-game items do?
• First is the Negotiator Pistol, which decreases the effectiveness of the target's armor and grants a passive bonus to the Persuasion skill. The second is the Digital Las-Ring, which is fitted with a short-range laser emitter capable of striking several targets in a row. And the third is the Xeno-Pelt Cloak. This item reduces the chances of suffering especially devastating hits and grants a passive bonus to the Coercion skill.
• What items will the Ultimate Digital Pack include?
• You will get a PC Digital Copy, a Discord Role, Beta Access to the game, a set of 3 exclusive in-game Items, an in-game Unique Voidship Model, a Digital OST, a Digital Art Book, and a ready-to-print Digital Vertical Poster. Your name will also appear in the Hall of Remembrance in the game and in the credits section.
• Will my alpha access transfer to the beta version and the release version?
• If you purchase the Developer’s Digital Pack, you will have access to the alpha, beta, and release versions of the game. Please keep in mind that your in-game progress will not be transferred from one version to another.

• When will I get my Collector's Edition?
• If your address is correct, you will get your CE in a month after the release day
• How do I get a refund?
• We are offering a refund period of 14 days from the purchase date, during which you can get a full refund if requested. You can request a refund by contacting team@owlcatgames.com, and a team member will guide you through the process. Please allow us a few days to process your request. No refund is available after 14 days.
• Will it be possible to pre-order on Xbox Series X|S or Playstation 5? Can I choose a console version of the game?

• Yes! But be aware, Playstation 4 and Xbox One X|S are not supported. 

• What do I need to do to get something from Addons?
• Add the price of the Addon you wish to receive to your pledge amount. You will be able to pick all the Addons you are eligible for from our landing page.
